Seamlessly integrating electric propulsion into a flexible architecture that was engineered for it from the outset, Range Rover Electric features twin permanent magnet 260kW electric motors generating up to 550PS and 850Nm of torque.
Range Rover Electric delivers confident, effortless performance with instantaneous power delivery and exceptional refinement. It can accelerate from 0-60mph in as little as 4.3 seconds, while overtaking from 50-75mph takes as little as 2.7 seconds.
The electric drivetrain brings a new dimension to Range Rover’s luxury DNA, offering near-silent progress, increased responsiveness, and greater torque than any previous Range Rover, all while maintaining the comfort and composure expected from the flagship luxury SUV.
The majority of Range Rover clients will be able to complete their typical daily journeys without recharging, thanks to a range of up to 372 miles (WLTP) and a real-world driving range of up to 333 miles (535km).
When charging away from home using the fastest available 350kW DC rapid chargers, Range Rover Electric can recharge from 10 to 80 percent in approximately 22 minutes or add up to 220km of range in just 10 minutes under optimal conditions.
At the heart of the vehicle is a usable 118.5kWh lithium-ion double-stacked battery comprising 344 prismatic cells. Combined with advanced 800-volt architecture and split-charging capability, the battery delivers outstanding energy density, efficiency, and charging performance.
The Range Rover App also allows owners to schedule charging sessions remotely, helping them take advantage of off-peak electricity tariffs and maximize convenience.
As with every Range Rover, capability remains at the core of the vehicle’s character.
New technologies provide precise control across all terrains, including Intelligent Driveline Dynamics (IDD), which can distribute rear torque from 100 percent to zero percent to help maintain traction in challenging conditions.
Integrated Traction Management (ITM) controls motor speed within just 50 milliseconds and manages wheel slip up to 100 times faster than a comparable combustion-engine vehicle.
Working together with the innovative Single Pedal mode, these technologies enable exceptional all-terrain performance. Drivers can effortlessly pull away on inclines of up to 33 degrees and climb slopes of up to 45 degrees, while maintaining confidence and control on challenging surfaces.
Range Rover Electric also retains the brand’s legendary ability to wade through water up to 900mm deep, ensuring its capability is uncompromised despite its advanced electric propulsion system.

Range Rover Electric introduces a range of innovative technologies designed to enhance performance, efficiency, durability, and customer experience.
Twin permanent magnet electric motors produce 20 percent more torque than comparable motors of the same size and utilize advanced silicon carbide semiconductors, enabling remarkable switching speeds measured in microseconds.
The vehicle is anticipated to become the most patented Range Rover ever, with more than 300 patent applications filed. Among the most innovative developments is ThermAssist™ heat management technology, which optimizes battery performance, charging efficiency, and driving range in extreme climates.
The system can increase driving range by up to 25 miles while reducing heating energy consumption by as much as 40 percent, helping to deliver consistent performance regardless of weather conditions.
Following the principle of being a Range Rover first and Electric second, the vehicle maintains its unmistakable design while incorporating carefully optimized aerodynamic features, including a unique grille design, aerodynamic wheel options, and a tailored underbody to maximize efficiency.
Owners can stay connected to their vehicle wherever they are through the new Range Rover App.
The app provides access to a wide range of useful features, including remote cabin purification, heated steering wheel activation, vehicle lock status, live location tracking, battery charge monitoring, and range information.
Clients can also remotely schedule charging sessions to ensure their vehicle is ready when needed while optimizing energy costs.
In Europe and the UK, owners benefit from access to more than one million public charging points. In North America, customers gain access to the Tesla Supercharger network through built-in NACS compatibility.
For home charging, an elegant optional Range Rover home charger allows drivers to begin every journey with a full battery.
Range Rover Electric has undergone one of the most comprehensive validation programs in the brand’s history.
Testing has included extreme environments from the frozen landscapes of Arjeplog, Sweden, where temperatures reached -40°C, to the scorching heat of the Dubai desert, as well as extensive evaluation at JLR’s Eastnor Castle testing facility in the UK.
The development program included more than 1.5 million kilometres of testing and over 250,000 hours of virtual and physical validation to ensure the vehicle delivers the customary Range Rover experience across every condition.
To maximize safety and durability, batteries are subjected to rigorous multi-axis vibration and shock testing in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +90°C. Combined with a high-strength aluminum battery enclosure and advanced safety systems, the result is a battery package engineered to exceed industry standards.
Each vehicle also includes a Battery Digital Twin, providing over 900 diagnostic monitoring points. Combined with JLR’s Software Over The Air capability, Range Rover can proactively monitor and maintain vehicles throughout their lifecycle.
Range Rover Electric's propulsion system is backed by an eight-year or 100,000-mile warranty.
To support the production of Range Rover Electric, JLR has transformed its Solihull manufacturing facility through significant investments in electrification, advanced manufacturing technologies, and workforce development.
More than 9,000 manufacturing employees at Solihull have been upskilled for electrified vehicle production, with an additional 1,500 colleagues trained across JLR’s wider West Midlands operations.

JLR’s Electric Propulsion Manufacturing Centre in Wolverhampton supports production by manufacturing battery packs and electric drive units alongside traditional powertrains.
The extensive redevelopment includes 13 battery and electric drive unit production lines, nine kilometres of conveyors, and 182 kilometres of power and data cabling. Advanced AI-enabled inspection systems verify component quality and assembly precision throughout the production process.
Every battery cell is individually performance-tested before installation into a battery pack, which itself undergoes further integrity and performance testing before final assembly into a Range Rover Electric vehicle.
